These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") govern the use of portal.docufire.com (the "Site"). This Site is owned and operated by DocuFire. This Site is an online document and payment portal.
By using this Site, you indicate that you have read and understand these Terms and Conditions and agree to abide by them at all times.
Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on our Site is the property of DocuFire and the Site's creators.
This includes, but is not limited to images, text, logos, documents, downloadable files and anything that contributes to the composition of our Site.
Accounts
When you create an account on our Site, you agree to the following:
- You are solely responsible for your account and the security and privacy of your account, including passwords or sensitive information attached to that account; and
- All personal information you provide to us through your account is up to date, accurate, and truthful and that you will update your personal information if it changes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you are using our Site illegally or if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DocuFire and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates will not be liable to you for any indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site.
To the extent we are found liable to you, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Site or these Terms and Conditions will be limited to the greater of (i) the total fees you have paid to us for use of the Site in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) CAD 5,000.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Indemnity
Except where prohibited by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless DocuFire and our directors, officers, agents, employees, subsidiaries, and affiliates from and against any third‑party actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:

your use of the Site in a manner that is unlawful or that violates these Terms and Conditions; or

your violation of any third‑party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right.
This indemnity will not apply to the extent that any such actions, claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses are caused by DocuFire’s negligence, willful misconduct, or breach of these Terms and Conditions.
Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario.
Additional Terms
Access to the DocuFire Online Document Portal is provided via secure, unique links and may also require additional authentication from time to time. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email account and devices and for promptly notifying us of any suspected unauthorized access to your information.
All payment processing is performed by third‑party payment processors who are responsible for compliance with applicable payment card industry (PCI) standards. DocuFire does not store complete payment card numbers.
DocuFire implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect data processed through the Site.
Severability
If at any time any of the provisions set forth in these Terms and Conditions are found to be inconsistent or invalid under applicable laws, those provisions will be deemed void and will be removed from these Terms and Conditions. All other provisions will not be affected by the removal and the rest of these Terms and Conditions will still be considered valid.
Changes
These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time in order to maintain compliance with the law and to reflect any changes to the way we operate our Site and the way we expect users to behave on our Site. We will notify users by email of changes to these Terms and Conditions or post a notice on our Site.
